User Account

With your temporary password on the registration form your account will be created for UNIX- and Windows. The temporary password is only valid for 5 days.
Please change it to a regular password which is then valid 180 days.

• Changing the Password: You can change your password via the Intranet web portal of our Registry (only within the DESY- network possible) or
  from outside of the internal DESY network, you could change the password with the command passwd. Therefore, you can log on to the server bastion.desy.de and use ssh to connect to DESY.
• In the DESY Intranet you can access the information about the DESY- Password Policy and receive tips for a good password (both only German).
