GitLab
DESY offers a service for software management based on GitLab where users can host their Git repositories.The service is open for users with a regular DESY account, as well as for people included in the Helmholtz AAI, which covers most of the scientific community in Europe.
IT provides the technical infrastructure for this service and ensures its operation.
The service is accessible at https://gitlab.desy.de.
How can I get access and login?
Please use the page https://gitlab.desy.de/users/sign_in.
If you have a DESY account please log in with your DESY LDAP credentials and your account will be created on the fly.
If you do not have a DESY account please login via Helmholtz AAI. An external account will be created for you. Please take note of the restrictions that apply for external accounts: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/administration/external_users.html.
