Availability
The computer center (CC) operates 24x7. The operating is staffed on working days from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Mon-Thu) or 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Fri). During this time the CC can be reached via Tel. 5007.
At other times as well as on public holidays the operation is not staffed. In important cases, the computer centre can then be reached via on-call duty. This phone numbers are available at exposed locations at DESY / EXFEL.
During the day, the central DESY IT Helpdesk (UCO) is the first point of contact for users regarding questions and problems relating to central DESY IT services and is available by telephone and e-mail during UCO opening hours (see below).
