Grid Computing
Since 2004, DESY IT operates a Grid Computing infrastructure.
In a worldwide context, these resources are used among others by the LHC experiments ATLAS and CMS, as well as by DESY based groups from HERA, ILC and Calice. Furthermore, other groups ("virtual organizations") have the possibility to use these resources.
