PC Standardization Work Group
In order to prevent disproportionately large support work by differently equipped personal computers at DESY, there should be a DESY standard PC in each case, which can be supplemented by further components. With the participation of the divisions, a working group keeps a specification for the DESY standard PC and the DESY standard monitor up-to-date. In doing so, it is oriented to the needs at DESY, the state of the art and the conditions of the market.
