The single point of contact to bring new computers to the computer
center is IT - System & Operations. We coordinate all activities as
racking, network connection and installation of the operating system.

Announcement:
If your computer(s) were ordered through it-sales@desy.de, we will
coordinate the rest.
If you've ordered your computers yourself, please inform us (rz@desy.de)
about your wish to host it by us.
The needed activities including network connection and OS-installation
will be coordinated IT-internally.
It is not not use full, that our customers contact other IT-groups
separately.
This leads only to a higher administration burden.
