Licenses can be bought via AMS (ams.desy.de) or the UCO (uco@desy.de):

Get software management
via munki.desy.de
Use Munki, DESY´s own App-Store to install software, printers & settings and get updates automatically.
Find software downloads
via intranet
Some programs are still provided for manual installation:
- LabView
- Mathematica
- Maple
- IDL
- Matlab
- FastX
Apple IDs
Apple applications like Pages, Numbers, Keynote, and GarageBand are preinstalled on newly purchased Macs.
To update this pre-installed software from Apple, an Apple ID for the Mac App Store is required.
- Apple IDs with DESY e-mail addresses should be used for this.
- These must be created by yourself.
- DESY IT does not currently manage Apple IDs.
