General information for smartphones
Settings to access e-mail, contacts and calendar
With Exchange ActiveSync (EAS) e-mails, contacts and calendar contents can be synchronized on a mobile phone. It is mandatory that your mobile phone supports the EAS protocol and your e-mail post box is on the DESY exchange server. The former should apply to all Windows user.
When using EAS, please make absolutely sure that you do not additionally synchronize e-mails, contacts and calendar entries between smartphone and PC/notebook. This may have to be deactivated in the synchronization software.

Please note that the MAC address of your device must be registered by a segment administrator to use the internal WLAN SSID "DESY". In general, the guest network eduroam should be sufficient for an external connection of the end device.
