The web site may be written in only one language like for instance German or English. It may be also written in both languages. If a web site is multilingual, there is a language that is defined as "primary language". It's the language that is first of all used to add content to the web site. The web site is then translated to the "secondary languages".
The primary language must be defined when the web site is built at the beginning. The primary language can not be changed after that.
If the web site is multilingual, a flag appears at the right top side of the web site. With the flag button, you can change from one language to the other.
